Two days ago, Variety confirmed that the role of Catwoman, the antiheroine in The Batman’s upcoming reboot with Matt Reeves in the director seat (Cloverfield, Planet of the Apes sequels) goes to Zoë Kravitz, a Big Little Lies actress.

Opposing Robert Pattinson as this time’s Batman, she will join Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry, and Anne Hathaway, who got to fit into the tight thief black suit previous to Zoë.

Kravitz is coming off her second season of HBO’s “Big Little Lies”, which aired its finale in July. She also has the Hulu series “High Fidelity” coming out later this year, and the filming date of The Batman is expected to be in late 2019 or early 2020.
